The demonstration garden at Stanford L. Warren Library in Durham, NC isn't just any garden; it's a vibrant pollinator paradise brought to life in 2024 through community partnership. NC State Extension Master Gardener℠ (EMG) volunteers of Durham County joined forces with the library and Sarah P. Duke Gardens to design, plant and cultivate something truly special.

In recognition of their collaborative efforts to create this exceptional educational space, the Extension Master Gardener volunteer team was awarded third place in the demonstration garden category of the 2025 David Gibby International Master Gardener Search for Excellence!
